Me, Me, Me, Me, Me!
Isn’t that the way a lot of these pages look? Well, to be honest, I don’t want this page to be about me; I want this page to be about you! And, what better way to serve you than to let you know a little about the person who is ready to meet your writing needs.
Let’s start with recent history:
July of last year (2015), I resigned from my position as Mobile Intensive Care Unit Director of Operations for a company I served for eighteen years. The company for which I worked, as well as the flight program we served, provided me with many years of experience I will always cherish. Sometimes, even late in the game, you may realize your occupation is not aligned with your goals. That’s what happened to me. So, in 2014 I returned to school, and I will graduate with my bachelor’s degree in English: Creative Writing in May, 2016; I will begin my master’s degree studies later the same month. It has been a wonderful experience, and I am in love with my new vocation!
My years in Emergency Medical Services–particularly the role I played as a member of leadership–has given me a cache of experience, and I consider areas of medical transportation a particular niche. That, by no means, restricts my knowledge base, though. Over the last several years, I have been involved in writing, revising, and editing business documents: skills that easily translate to multiple fields and specialties.
Most recently, I completed the American Writers and Artists Inc. course: Secrets of Writing High-Performance Business-to-Business Copy, a course that reinforced certain skills I have been using, and educated me on a wealth of additional skills which will allow me to provide you with the best strategies in copywriting.
I am proud of my accomplishments, but I’m not overly fond of talking about myself. If you’d like to learn a little more about my personal side, please visit my author site. There, you’ll see what I do with my Creative Writing side and experience a little of my more laid-back attitude (and the about page is full of other blah, blah, blah stuff I won’t bore you with, here).
There’s the highlights. While I abhor cockiness and try to avoid it in any of my business dealings, I am confident you’ll find me both personable and professional, and I look forward to meeting and doing business, with you!
